Back in March, German trombone virtuoso Olaf Krumpfer died. Here is the announcement in German:

He was for many years principal trombone at the Dresden Philharmonic and professor of trombone at the Dresden Conservatory Carl Maria von Weber. What I liked about him that he seems to have some ambitions in solo and chamber music. Most German trombonists just sit in their orchestras.
Here are some examples:
Bach's Contrapunctus No. 9 with a trombone quartet (him being second from the right): https://youtu.be/a46sH_PvqXk
David's Concertino in a Jazz trombone quartet version: https://youtu.be/-Lb94dCCfUQ
Bach's Air in a trombone quartet version: https://youtu.be/TzA_W8p8RQI
Wagenseil's Alto trombone concertio accompanied by 8 trombones: https://youtu.be/T7U2zxpolOM
